Run, children! Run for your lives!

For a while now, scientists have ponder the possiblity of creating an A.I., a thinking machine, artificial intelligence that learns from its mistakes and grows over time. So far, most attempts are far from spectacular.

However, the human mind is a pretty spectacular thing, much greater than any man-made computer by a long-shot. Lightyears ahead of any microprocessors ever made, the amount of information your brain can comprehend and sort is analogous to today's high-speed internet being compared to the >56k modems of yesteryear.

So, wouldn't it make sense that your mind could create and maintain an A.I. much more logically than a couple lines of program? A mass of silicon, copper and gold has nothing on the complex wiring of the brain.

And... If this A.I. was not man made, not artificial... What makes it A.I.? Isn't it just intelligence?
Sentience?

Sapience?
